From Wednesday 30 January, a major upgrade of a gas main beside the A58 Prescot Bypass will close one lane of the dual carriageway for six weeks.
Gas distribution network, Cadent, have arranged the closure with Knowsley Council to ensure the first phase of work can be completed safely.
The lane closure will start at the St Helens Road roundabout and run in the direction of travel towards Liverpool / M57.
