Local elections take place in Knowsley on Thursday, 5 May, and you must be on the electoral register by midnight on Monday, 18 April if you want to be able to vote.
How do I register?
You can register online by visiting www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. You will be asked to submit your date of birth and National Insurance number.
In order to be eligible to vote on May 5 you must register online before midnight on Monday 18 April.
I can’t remember if I am registered, how can I check?
If you are registered to vote, you should have received your polling card already. If you have not received it, you may not be registered and you should email Knowsley Council or call their Election Helpline on 0151 443 2222.
Can I vote by post?
If you wish to vote by post, please request an application form by calling 0151 443 2222 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You must be registered to vote before you can choose to vote by post.
For the May local elections, the deadline for receipt of completed postal vote application forms is 5pm on Tuesday 19 April.
