Improve your wellbeing with Wellbeing Enterprises’ programme of activities during the gloomy winter months.
Wellbeing Enterprises’ mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of people across Merseyside. The award-winning social enterprise aims to do this by providing support to individuals and communities, educating the public, tackling the causes of poor health and running wellbeing courses.
All of the programmes are free and some have limited places while others are only for those who use the services of the support group where the sessions are at.
Explore your creative side with an artist, and have fun and meet new people with Wellbeing enterprises’ Mindful Creations course.
This programme starts on Monday 16 October at 3pm to 4.30pm and will run for four weeks.
It takes place at Northwood Community Centre, Gilescroft Avenue, Northwood, Kirkby L33 9TW
Emotional Awareness (only for CGL clients)
This course can help you to connect with others and explore where your feelings and thoughts come from.
The Emotional Awareness programme starts on Tuesday 17 October from 10am to 11.30am and runs for four weeks.
The sessions take place at The Peake Centre, 12 – 14 Chapel Brook, Huyton L36 6FH
Sleep and Relaxation
Who couldn’t do with better sleep of a night? Learn how to have them by using breathing techniques, mindfulness and meditation.
This programme is for everyone and starts on Monday 30 October from 10am to 11.30am. It is four weeks long.
The venue is Halewood Youth in Community Centre, Lichfield Road, Halewood L26 1TT
There is also a Sleep and Relaxation programme for C.H.A.S.S clients which starts on Wednesday 18 October from 2.30pm to 4pm and is also four weeks long.
The venue for the course for C.H.A.S.S clients is C.H.A.S.S Community Hall, Greenwood Close, Prescot L34 2SL
Have you thought about taking up a new hobby? With tai chi, you can improve your core strength and balance while improving your wellbeing. You will learn the basics in these classes so complete beginners are welcome.
The first tai chi class starts on Wednesday 1 November from 10am to 11.30am and the classes run for four weeks.
The Tai chi classes take place at The Caldwell Centre, Tarbock Road, Huyton L36 0SD
Wellbeing Ambassador taster session
In this taster session, you can give back to others and train to be a Wellbeing Champion by learning how to help others in Knowsley improve their wellbeing. You will gain a useful toolkit of resources, and can have fun and meet new people at the same time.
The taster session is at Wellbeing Enterprises Offices, Bridgewater House, Old Coach Road, Runcorn WA7 1QT on Friday 3 November from 2pm to 4.30pm.
In this course, you will discover the power of mindfulness to boost your wellbeing, reduce stress and reconnect with your life through your senses and breathing.
This Mindfulness programme which is for everyone starts on Tuesday 14 November from 11am to 12.30pm. This is on for four weeks.
The course available to everyone takes place at Yew Trees Centre, 1 Capper Grove, Huyton L36 7YT
There is also a Mindfulness programme for Alternative Futures Group clients which starts on Thursday 19 October at 10am to 11.30am and will also run for four weeks.

Christmas Creations (only for Carers Centre clients)
With this programme, you can discover your creative talents making your own Christmas themed designs. It’s the perfect way to get in the festive spirit and boost your wellbeing.
The Christmas Creations programme starts on Monday 20 November from 3pm to 4.30pm and is on for four weeks.
These sessions take place at Knowsley Carers Centre, 143 Bewley Drive, Kirkby L32 9PE
