Nominations are now open in the Educate Awards, the exciting awards that celebrates primary and secondary schools across the North West.
This year, awards up for grabs highlights excellence in communication, STEM, arts, sport, and more, and also recognises school’s hardworking teachers and support staff.
A new addition to the category list this year is the Mental Health and Wellbeing Award, an award that recognises the schools taking control of tacking mental health issues among pupils and staff. This award shines a spotlight on the region’s schools that show a commitment to promoting good mental health and emotional wellbeing, and have provision in place to support pupils and staff.
The good work in Knowsley schools has not gone unnoticed; schools as well as staff have scooped a number of Educate Awards in previous years. In 2016, two schools and a learning mentor were recognised, and in 2017, awards in four categories were given to our schools. The success carried on into 2018, with Knowsley schools winning three awards and two others just missing out and being runners up.
The well-deserving winners at the Educate Awards will be revealed at the awards ceremony at Liverpool Cathedral this November. Do you know a school or staff member you think should be recognised? You can nominate them until midnight on Sunday 23 June 2019.
You can find more information and make your nominations on the Educate Awards website.
