Is your New Year’s resolution to spend more time on yourself and look after yourself a bit more, just as you deserve to? Willowbrook Hospice is offering the perfect opportunity for you to do just that.
The fantastic volunteers at Willowbrook’s Holistic Support Services are holding workshops and activities for you to improve your health and wellbeing so you can enjoy some ‘me time’, and support the brilliant charity that has provided care for thousands of local people.
There will be 10 sessions over a 10-week programme, with the first session focusing on developing your confidence, self-esteem and independence. In other sessions, themes will surround creative wellbeing and wellness. You can also take advantage of the complementary therapy on offer.
Each session costs £2 and are on every Tuesday, beginning 12 February 2019. You can choose which ones you want to attend or if you prefer, pay just £5 to experience the programme in one day. Please view the leaflet for more information, including details about times of sessions.

These sessions are open to anyone in Knowsley and St Helens aged 18 and over.
Willowbrook Hospice in Prescot has provided palliative care for around 8,500 people in St Helens and Knowsley, making their lives as comfortable and joyful as possible. The hospice relies heavily on fundraising efforts to continue with their great work, including providing inpatient beds, day therapy, bereavement support, therapies, and medical and outpatient services. The hospice organises many fundraising events which you can keep up-to-date with on their website.
