Get on your bike and join in one of two mass-participation cycle rides being organised in Knowsley by Pedal Away.
The rides return for the third year after becoming a popular event for the borough’s cyclists.
Get Sunday, 10 September in your diary and choose between two routes:
- Option one: 10 mile family-friendly route, along mostly traffic-free cycle paths.
- Option two: 40 mile challenge route, touring Knowsley’s quiet lanes and new cycle paths.
Both routes will be an exciting challenge for anyone wanting to test their ability and explore new places with new people.
How can I join in?
Places are limited, so to take part you must register before the event. You can do this online at www.cycling.org.uk
Entry costs £10 per person, with all proceeds going towards buying new disability cycling equipment for Wheel for All sessions run by Cycling Projects. Teams of five can enter for only £40
Both Pedal Away routes will set off and finish at the Velodrome at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park, Huyton. Riders can set off between 9am-10am and complete the route at their own pace.
