If you’re leaving school or college this summer and thinking about your next step – think about becoming a Knowsley Apprentice.
The team is now recruiting for apprentices to start work in September.
If you’re keen to get started in the world of work, an apprenticeship will give you the real work experience you need to get the edge in the job market. You will gain a recognised qualification and develop professional skills all while earning a good salary.
You don’t need experience, or lots of qualifications. If you have plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, Knowsley Apprentice might be for you.
With apprenticeships in construction, engineering, housing and marketing, there’s something for everyone.
How to apply
Visit http://www.knowsley.gov.uk/apprentice to view all apprenticeships and apply. The closing date is Tuesday 11 July 2017.

Holly Westerside from Kirkby joined Poco Coffee as a Knowsley Apprentice in 2014.
During her 12 month apprenticeship Holly studied towards an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services and NVQ Level 1 in Maths and English.
At the end of her apprenticeship, Holly was offered a full time position and is now studying towards a Retail Management Diploma.
As part of this course and her overall development plan with Poco Coffee, Holly is now acting as a Trainee Supervisor and mentoring another new starter.
Holly said: “Becoming an apprentice has been one of the best decisions I have made. I really enjoy working at Poco Coffee and I’m thrilled to be training as a supervisor for another member of staff and running the Kirkby store.
“If someone is thinking of applying for an apprenticeship I would say definitely do it. If you work hard and show you’re enthusiastic, then it can open the door to so many more opportunities.”
