Knowsley residents are being asked to take part in a survey about local pharmacy services in the community.
Knowsley Health and Wellbeing Board is undertaking a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment and is asking local residents to give their views on the assessment.
The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment assesses the pharmacy needs of the local population and identifies what pharmaceutical services are currently available in the area, and where they are likely to be needed in the future because of changes to the health or demographics of the population. This includes dispensing services as well as public health and other services that pharmacies may provide.
The Health and Wellbeing Board is required to undertake a 60 day consultation period on the draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, which will run until 31 December 2017.
The draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment and the consultation survey can be found on the Health and Wellbeing Board website here.
