A new video, endorsed by celebrities, has been launched to help promote the message of ‘run, hide, tell’ in the event of a terrorist attack.
This message is featured throughout the video which includes a number of celebrities including TV star Bear Grylls, footballer Jamie Vardy and Olympian Jade Jones.
In the event of a terrorist attack, the advice is to firstly try to flee an attack – or find somewhere safe to hide – and then alert authorities, when it is safe to do so.
The video has been produced by the Counter Terrorism Police and is targeted at 11 to 16 year olds on how to act in the unlikely event that they are caught in a knife or gun attack.
The campaign also encourages people not to stop and use their mobile phone until they are safety away from danger.
More information and advice is available on the Merseyside Police website.
