Knowsley’s popular annual Flower Show will return to Court Hey Park on Sunday 6 August with this year’s show celebrating “50 Summers of Love”!
Renowned as the largest free horticultural show of its kind in the North West, the show, now in its 19th year, attracts thousands of visitors from across the region and is popular with gardeners and families.
At the heart of the show, as always, will be the giant floral marquee. As always, there will be more than 100 classes to enter – so whether you’re an expert gardener or an enthusiastic novice, there’s always something to suit you.
Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love, visitors this year will enjoy lots of colourful décor throughout Court Hey Park and even a couple of special classes including a vase of Summer of Love flowers!
All of the usual activities, attractions and entertainment will return for the show, including the craft marquee, live music inspired by Sgt Peppers’ Lonely Heart Club band, the farmers market, circus skills, creative arts workshops, health and wellbeing zone and lots of trade stands. As well as the Flower Show on Sunday 6 August, there will also be the Feelgood Festival taking place on the same site the previous day, Saturday 5 August, with a similar theme.

Please note that the Flower Show and Feelgood Festival are not affected by the closure of the National Wildflower Centre, and will take place as usual in Court Hey Park.
